Silway 7288 is a solventless silicone concentrate based on a precise mixture of silane and siloxane.
Dilute solutions of Silway 7288 serve as high-quality general-purpose water repellents for impregnating and priming mineral and highly alkaline substrates. It is ideally suited for imparting water repellency to absorbent, porous construction materials.
After application, Silway 7288 reacts with atmospheric moisture or pore water to generate the active ingredient. This significantly lowers water absorbency while maintaining high water vapor permeability, ensuring pores and capillaries remain unclogged.
