Composite Fireproof Glass Production Equipment

Composite fireproof glass polymerization furnace main components and process:
  • I. Glass cleaning process
  • II. Manual sealant strip machine application (requires special gloves)
  • III. Special roller press (hot press roller for combining glass pieces)
  • IV. Air float gluing table
  • V. Manual edge gluing station
  • VI. Stainless steel reactor (equipped with heating pump, chiller, and vacuum pump)
  • VII. Composite glass grouting table (includes peristaltic pumps and air-float lifting)
  • VIII. Semi-automatic lifting system

Main Technical Performance

Our polymerization furnace adheres to architectural safety standards GB/T1.1-2009 and GB15763.1. The system features advanced heating via PLC intelligent control, utilizing a furnace body with 3 groups of convection fans and a built-in wind forced circulation system.

Heating & Cooling Efficiency: During heating, hot air is forced through convection ducts to ensure uniformity. In the cooling stage, the system extracts hot air and introduces cold air from outside to rapidly decrease temperatures. Real-time temperature data is displayed via 3 groups of thermocouples on the touch screen interface.

Fireproof Function & Infusion

Infused fireproof glass consists of two or more layers of tempered glass. After sealing the gaps with specialized sealant, fire-retardant liquid is infused into the cavity. The glass then undergoes a polymerization process:

  • Temperature range: 75°C to 80°C
  • Constant temperature duration: 5 to 8 hours
  • Result: High-performance flame retardant and fire-resistant composite glass

Frequently Asked Questions

What glass thickness can this furnace process?
The equipment is designed to handle glass thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 19 mm.
How is the furnace temperature controlled?
It uses a PLC intelligent control system with a touch screen interface and 3 groups of thermocouples for precise monitoring.
What are the safety standards for the production?
The production process and equipment comply with GB/T1.1-2009 and GB15763.1 architectural safety glass standards.
What is the curing time for infused fireproof glass?
The glass typically requires a constant temperature of 75-80°C for approximately 5 to 8 hours depending on thickness.
